Brazilian Restaurants in Manchester

Tropeiro (City Centre)
Brazil Street, Manchester, M1 3WF             Tel: 0161 923 6846

A brand new Brazilian restaurant with a meaty menu. Great food with an interesting concept in presentation. Tropiero is a traditional churrascaria specialising in barbecue, which means meat and plenty of it.

Gaucho Grill (Deansgate)
2a St Mary's Street, Manchester, M3 2LB             Tel: 0161 833 4333

Gaucho Grill interior
Renowned for their mouth-watering Argentinean steaks, Gaucho Bar and Grill is a stylish restaurant just off Deansgate. Although the décor is a tad soulless, the sheer size of this converted church hall is impressive in itself. It’s a testament to the popularity of Gaucho Grill that it gets so busy during peak times, and despite this the staff manage to make sure that you’re never left drumming your fingers on the table waiting for the bill. The menu has a distinct South American flavour but the aforementioned steaks are where Gaucho really comes into its own – the 400g fillet is painfully delicious. The wine list continues this Argentinean theme with over 140 bottles to sample, many of which are created uniquely for Gaucho Grill itself.

Grill On The Alley (Deansgate)
5 Ridgefield, Manchester, M2 6EG             Tel: 0161 833 3465

Owned by the same group behind the sublime Living Room, the Grill on the Alley is a fine addition to Manchester’s restaurant scene. Soft lighting and a gentle décor provide a relaxing environment to enjoy your meal in, and you’ll be treated to efficient and delicate service. The menu is comprised of a wide range of traditional dishes, although when spotting the inhabited lobster tank at the far end of the restaurant, many visitors may opt to avoid the seafood selection. The atmosphere is warm and lively and the price very reasonable for the excellent experience you’ll be treated to.
